This year’s Conference theme is ‘Advancing Enterprise Education’ within which there are several broad themes of: ‘raising awareness’ , ‘enterprise in context: teaching methods’, ‘policy in action’ and ‘pathways for learning’.
IEEC will take place at the Edinburgh Conference Centre from Wednesday 2nd to Friday 4th September.
This three day conference explores how to advance enterprise education, and brings together entrepreneurship educators to meet and exchanges ideas with colleagues and practitioners, as well develop opportunities for future practice.

The Conference will also host the first Annual Enterprise Educator Awards which are now open for entries. The award seeks to reward those working as enterprise educators supporting student and graduate entrepreneurship in higher education.
If you can think of a worthy colleague or group of students or perhaps would like to raise awareness of your own efforts in driving forward the enterprise education agenda in your university why not find out more.
The three Award categories will recognise:
• Enterprise Educators who are transforming the enterprise curriculum
• Enterprise Champions who are supporting extra-curricular activities
• Student Enterprise Clubs and Societies supporting peer learning.
Those interested in making an application or nomination are asked to submit a case study of examples (maximum 700 words) detailing the impact they are having in enterprise education.
Submissions will be judged on:
• Demonstration of good practice
• Innovation
• Evidence of ‘making a difference’
• Impact
Applications and nominations for the awards will be accepted until 12th June 2009.
