Spotlight on the Enterprise Education Trust

The Enterprise Education Trust is one of the UK’s leading business and enterprise education charities and has been providing a range of interactive programmes to 14-19 year old students for over 30 years.  Over the next three editions of EnterpriseUpfront we take a look at the main programmes which make up the Trust, this month we focus on Achievers International.

The concept of Achievers is simple; it is an internet based enterprise project which involves a group of students and their teacher in a school in the UK forming a company, which is then partnered with a similar group at a school in another country. The aim is to import and export products at a profit. With their partner school the students identify and source products that will sell in each other’s market.  They then import and export products and sell them in their local area to try and make a profit.
