Highlight: the Essential Tools for Entrepreneurship Education event

If you are looking for new ideas, tools and activities that will offer your students experiential learning opportunities then the forthcoming Higher Education Entrepreneurship Group (HEEG), Essential Tools for Entrepreneurship Education event could provide you with all the information you need.

Essential Tools for Entrepreneurship Education is open to those across the UK who provide enterprise or entrepreneurship education and will take place at University of Reading on 26th March 2009 from 9am to 4.30pm.

The one day event aimed at entrepreneurship educators based in Universities, FE Colleges and schools provides the opportunity for those interested to find out about the latest and most successful experiential learning tools.

Delegates will hear about cutting edge entrepreneurial learning games, inspirational videos and online applications and will get the opportunity to experience them for themselves.

Workshops will provide an overview of experiential learning tools such as:
• SimVenture
• MarketPlace
• Xing
• Venture Navigator
• Genr8
• Undercover Learning
• DJ Life
• Taktix

Exhibitors in the one stop entrepreneurship shop include: Enterprisers Alumni Facebook application; Kiss the Frog Gallery; Mulberry Community Restaurant; Rhema and Phreadz.

The event is hosted by HEEG - a regional network of academics, business development, knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship professionals, careers service staff, senior managers and students based in Higher Education Institutions across South East England. 

HEEG aims to increase the capacities and capabilities of Higher Education to develop more enterprising students and more graduate business start-ups through up-skilling staff and sharing best practice.

Delegate costs are £30 per person for staff employed by HEEG Member Universities and £50 per person for staff employed by all other organisations.
