The Solutions for Business products have been developed with input from the business community, Regional Development Agencies, Local Authorities and other organisations and have been designed to make it easier for companies large and small, new and existing to find the right products to help them with common issues around getting started, growing, finance, export, skills, innovation and the environment.
The portfolio will mean that for the first time all government publicly funded business support now shares an easily identified banner and will be accessed through one central point, Business Link.
March 2010 will see the end of a twelve month transition period by which time the only the Solutions for Business products will be offered in the way of government business support.
The most recent products introduced to the portfolio which impact on pre-start up and which may be of interest to EnterpriseUpfront readers are Enterprise Coaching and Rural Development Programme for England.
The completed portfolio will offer the following products to support pre-start up:
• Starting a Business
• Intensive Start-up Support
• Starting a High Growth Business
• Understanding Finance for Business
• Enterprise Coaching
• Rural Development Programme for England
• Grant for Research and Development
