Opportunities to submit four different types of papers to this year’s conference which are:
Working papers are
research pieces which are in progress and give an insight into current
research thinking and activities. They provide an opportunity for
authors to present their work and receive constructive feedback prior to
developing research for publication.
Practitioner papers enable practitioners to highlight
excellent and distinctive practice in enterprise creation and
development. Evidence of effectiveness of the practices presented with
clear practical or policy implications must be highlighted within
submissions.
Case studies are intensive studies of single or group, incident, or community and should involve in-depth, possibly even longitudinal examination of a single instance or event. Submissions are expected to provide a sharpened understanding of why the instance happened as it did, and evidence what aspect might become important to look at more extensively in future research.
Refereed papers are papers which have been through a refereeing process by ISBE expert reviewers and have been accepted.
Paper submissions are welcomed from non-members of the ISBE network.
Deadlines for submissions are:
• 31st May 2009 for Refereed abstracts
• 30th June 2009 for Working and Practitioner Papers and Case Studies
