Global Entrepreneurship Week 2009
With Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2009 quickly approaching (16 – 22 November) why not take the opportunity to get thinking about ideas for your school, college, university or organisation to get involved and help individuals in your local community harness their talent and realise their full potential.
During Global Entrepreneurship Week thousands of events are run in the UK and across the world to encourage people to be entrepreneurial. It creates mass participation and exposes people of all ages and abilities to quality enterprise experiences – from school students to university graduates and from employees to enterprising people looking to get back to work. Last year over three million people attend 25,000 events in seventy seven countries.
New this year for GEW, they have developed criteria which will enable you to organise events that have a positive and lasting impact on your participants. If you’d like some inspiration to get you started with your GEW planning, GEW have identified some key areas that you may want to think about when planning a high quality Global Entreprenship event.
