Enterprise UK Ambassador Programme

Enterprise UK is an organisation dedicated in giving young people the confidence to become more enterprising with the aim of creating a culture of enterprise and entrepreneurship in the UK. Their work is designed to inspire young people to make their ideas happen and they do this with the help of a host of ambassadors - entrepreneurs who are committed to sharing their knowledge, passion and expertise with others.

Over the next 12 months Enterprise UK’s ambassador coordinators will be working with a number of partners including enterprise agencies and regional development agencies with the aim of creating regional databases of Enterprise Ambassadors.

These databases will be supported by a system to make it straightforward for schools and colleges, forums and other organisations to identify individuals who are happy to visit, tell their story in person, sit on judging panels for enterprise competitions or simply share their story as a case study.

The ways in which ambassadors can engage with the UK’s potential entrepreneurs are endless. By visiting schools, leading workshops, giving talks, mentoring young entrepreneurs and blogging about experiences – good or bad, ambassadors can share a wealth of information and experience which could go on to inspire enterprise across the country.

Ambassadors need to be enthusiastic, inspiring individuals to help give people the encouragement and support to bring their ideas to life. Does this sound like something you’d like to be involved with?

If so visit www.enterpriseuk.org.
