Higher Education Entrepreneurship Group (HEEG) Annual Conference
We are pleased to be able to invite our readers to this year’s HEEG Annual Conference, which will be held at the University of Greenwich on 14th -15th June 2010.
The Conference entitled “Towards the Entrepreneurial University. Are we getting there?” will feature HE leaders, government and entrepreneurs.
The overarching topic of the future direction of entrepreneurship education will be discussed within three Conference tracks:
• Entrepreneurship Education – entrepreneurship teaching and learning
• Entrepreneurship Activities – extra-curricular (student and staff entrepreneurship; support for entrepreneurial staff)
• Entrepreneurial Organisation – changing the university culture
The provisional programme is published on the HEEG website; currently confirmed speakers include:
• Professor Allan Gibb, Emeritus Professor at Durham University who will be speaking on the subject of picking up on the leading issues in developing the Entrepreneurial University.
• Professor Torben Bager, Director, IDEA, University of Southern Denmark who will be speaking on the subject of entrepreneurship education and new venture creation: A comprehensive approach.
• Professor Chris Rudd, Pro Vice-Chancellor, University of Nottingham who will be discussing ‘Walking the Walk’ - building a cross-cutting culture of innovation and risk.
